I know exactly what it feels like to be spinning in circles, stuck in obsession, and living life with ‘all or nothing’ thinking.
After years of failed relationships, impulsive decisions, yo-yo dieting and riding emotional rollercoasters; I knew I needed to get to the root of my issues and that I couldn't go on like this any longer.
And that's exactly why I created The Secure Self Coaching Program. I was tired of wasting time and money on professionals that didn’t understand me, and I knew that trying to fix my own problems with the same thinking that got me there wasn’t going to help me get any closer to my goals.
Does this sound like you? Then let’s get to work..

A more peaceful, successful life is waiting for you…
If you are finally sick and tired of being sick and tired, it may be a sign to try something new. As scary as change can be, learning new strategies and coping skills can become your ticket to freedom. A more fulfilling life is not as far away as you think..

Therapy helps people reach a place of emotional stability, healing, and coping by working though their pain related to trauma, disorders, or mental illness. Talk therapy is client-centred and helps individuals draw many of their own conclusions with the help of a trained professional. Therapy is slower paced than coaching; it focuses mostly on feelings, working through life events and potential trauma, and exploring issues from the past. Coaching is designed for people who are already in a place of stability, but who need more direction and psychoeducation on the issues that are still blocking them from their full potential and/or happiness. Coaching is fast-paced, action and goal-oriented, and is designed for those who are ready, willing, and able to move forward and create change. Coaching is generally for people who have previously had some form of therapy or counselling. Coaching does not diagnose or treat any kind of mental illness.

Many people come to me after being in therapy for years and not seeing the results they had in mind. Many people are still unaware of their attachment wounds, and that the majority of their childhood experiences have programmed them to behave the way they do in their relationships, careers, and in their inability to stick with personal goals. Having a coach by your side will help you understand your core wounds and patterns quickly so you can then start building a framework for your life which will help guide you out of old patterns and impulsive decisions.

Prior to working with any of my clients, we schedule a free, 15-minute consultation call so I can get a better understanding of your needs and assess whether I can be of service to you. Here’s what you can expect on our call together:
I will inquire about your previous history in therapy and/or coaching
I’ll tell you more about myself and why I created this coaching program
We will discuss our schedules and availability
We will speak more about my rates, payment options, and the difference between coaching and therapy
-
Most coaching programs are not covered by insurance providers. You can always call your provider and inquire; you may be partially covered but most of my clients pay privately, out of pocket. Here are the benefits to paying private:
No waiting lists
Private program specifically tailored to attachment, codependence, and internal family systems
Longer sessions than traditional therapy with support in between
More psychoeducation and direction provided than therapy to help you with stubborn issues that have yet to be resolved
Shorter timeframe than traditional therapy; you can expect to cover more in under three months versus in traditional weekly therapy

The 10-week Secure Self Program is designed for us to meet weekly for the 10-weeks. However, I do make expectations for clients needing to meet bi-weekly due to work or life constraints; but I do not recommend spacing the sessions out more than two weeks at a time to ensure its effectiveness.
-
This is why I schedule a call with every person that inquires about The Secure Self Program. I want to make sure you are in a place where coaching is the right option for you, and if not I will be happy to discuss additional service providers that I think may be helpful to you.

I hold a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelors in Applied Human Sciences and hold a twelve year career in addiction counselling. I have worked with individuals in the grips of drug addiction, alcoholism, and process addictions such as food, codependency, over-spending and pornography usage. I am an expert in helping individuals break-free from narcissistic abuse; heal from the anxious-avoidant traps in relationships; and teach people who have over-committed and over-given in their relationships how to be able to take their lives and power back.
-
Unfortunately not. Only clients who have completed the 10-week coaching program will be able to book hourly, individual sessions.
